Helicopters tend to conjure up images of luxury transportation for the rich and famous. But you may be surprised to learn that certain models can be purchased for around the same price as the average sedan – and that’s for a brand new helicopter! Going used brings the costs down even more.

Of course, if you want all the latest technology and maximum reliability, the higher-end helicopters will be a better fit, though more expensive.

The type of helicopter makes a big difference too. For instance, home-built, single-seat copters will be far cheaper than multi-passenger models with more features.

The good news is there’s a very wide range of new and used helicopter prices on the market. So no matter your budget, you should be able to find an option that works for you. While helicopters still represent a major purchase, certain models bring the thrill of flying within reach for private individuals. With some research, you can experience these aircraft at reasonable prices compared to common ground vehicles.

Here, we have listed the latest helicopter prices in Canada

This luxuriously-appointed helicopter has a Rolls-Royce 250 engine and a top speed of about 136mph, with a range of 454 miles. The 206B has enjoyed plenty of fame, appearing in James Bond films and Terminator 2.

Agusta Westland 109 Power Grand
